GENERALI: FITCH CONFIRMED IFS RATING AT 'A-' LEVEL

Today Fitch Ratings has affirmed Generali's Insurance Sector Financial Strength (IFS) rating at 'A-'. The agency also affirmed its 'BBB +' Issuer Default Rating (IDR). The outlook remains stable. The ratings reflect Generali's strong capitalization and very strong business profile, in particular its strong position in the markets of Italy, Germany and France. The financial leverage of the Group is assessed as moderate for its ratings.
